The only school worse than this one in the city is CDI. I worked for this school. I would not recommend that anyone else do the same. When I was hired, I was lied to about the expectations for the job and about the fact that Micheal could pay. I asked specifically about work hours and additional work in the interview. After I had signed the contract he told me I was 'expected' to put in an extra 10 hours a week, which did not cover all the extra work I had to do. He did not pay me for the first three months I worked there. I ended up getting laid off cause he could not afford to pay me and he took several months to pay the remaining money. He, instead, choose to continually tell me that it would be paid in a week, which it never was until I got the director of my current school to talk to him. He actually got mad at me when I threatened to go to the labor board to the head of the elementary school. I have friends that work there and they are several months behind in pay as well. He stated clearly in my interview that all I had to do was prep for classes and teach. After I was hired, I found out that I also had to make weekly homework books, write elementary exams, write bi-weekly letters to every kid I taught and every class and make monthly drama recordings. Also, I had to make all the drama curriculum. He also required everyone to go on a Saturday field trip without pay. Michael has no respect for his employees and he is a very dishonest individual. DO NOT WORK THERE!
