Wonderland English – Namdong-gu: Mansu-dong, Incheon

I worked for this school a few years back, it all started well with decent hours and quite a few lessons free everyday. Slowly they added more and more lessons and extra meetings that were mandatory. Every month you had to stay late to do phone interviews etc. However this school also had a monthly school trip which was a great chance to be more friendly with your students, everyone looked forward to these days. The school also had activity days that used all the phrases the students had learnt the previous month and put them into practice. The kids really learnt a lot more during these days than normal repetition in a stuffy classroom.
There is a playground in the roof which is often used to blow off excess energy.
Lots has changed at this school in the two years since I have been there. The teachers and management have all changed and it has become a lot more competitive. A long term teacher was recently denied her bonus if she left a few weeks early for a family wedding.
We were always paid on time and the apartments are old but cosy. Lots if other foreign teachers live in the same building so there is always company and entertainment.
