EPIK Teachers

EPIK (English Program in Korea) is a program sponsored by the Korean Ministry of Education. Established in 1995, EPIK was created  to improve the English speaking abilities of students and teachers in Korea and to develop cultural exchanges.  Over 1000 teachers are placed in ESL teaching jobs every year through the EPIK Program.

GEPIK Teachers

GEPIK (Gyeonggi English Program in Korea) provides English education to all public schools in Gyeonggi-do. Established in 2003, it is estimated that over 2,000 foreign ESL teachers will be working for the GEPIK program by the end of 2010.

SMOE Teachers

SMOE (Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education) provides English education to public school students in the Seoul metropolitan area. Established in 2005, SMOE  was created with the goal of placing a native English speaker in every school. Currently, there are hundreds of ESL teachers teaching in Korea through the SMOE Program.
