This school is run by a very generous won jong nim. He is helpful in every way to his foreign teachers. The SLP has a good program that is easy to follow. The hours are like any other hagwon. If you work kindergarten, you will be tired. But they do heave helper teachers for you, which many schools do not provide.

Beg to differ. And I am going to assume ‘Robin’ is a KT at this hogwon. Or some other Korean tentacle. The Slave Labour Program in Yongin is a crap hole due to its kindergarten supervisor. She is a mean spirited little person who wants to make everyone around her miserable. Why come thousands and thousands of miles away to work in a hostile, vicious work enviornment for minimum wage?

Actually. ‘Robin’ was NOT a KT but a certified masters teacher from America and I do agree with her. I worked at the school a couple years ago and still to this day, I miss the children, staff, and yes, the generous director and his skillfully selected supervisors. Mr. Yoon was there the second we needed him. He was respectful, always on time with pay and would do anything to help the foreign teachers. I became ill when I was there and he led me in the direction to get better. If it wasn’t for him, I probably would have had to of gone home to get better. I would recommed this school to anyone who likes a quiet yet very attractive and young area. There is not as much to do in Dongbaek as there is in Seoul but it’s beautiful!!!

I agree with Sara and Robin, with whom I had the privilige to work with. This SLP is well taken care of and I miss it everyday. Mr.Yoon and my supervisors were very caring, and understanding especially if you need help with docter appointments and other things outside the school. The best place to go for your first year in Korea. I will never forget their kindness.

I agree with Sara, Natalie, and Robin, all of whom I worked with at some point. Mr. Yoon is wonderful! You are always payed on time and he helps you whenever you need it. A super nice man and a wonderful staff. I was teaching at Dongbaek SLP for almost 2 years. During that time my best friend joined me and unfortunately suffered a ruptured appendix. Mr. Yoon allowed me to stay with her in the hospital for two days until she was stable. He was very supportive and understanding through the whole experience. It is a secure and supportive school for new teachers in Korea. I highly recommend it.
