Sogang Language Program (SLP) – Gimpo: Sau-dong, Gyeonggi-do

I worked at this Hagwan for one year and I was not impressed with the Directors AT ALL! They treated their workers very poorly! We worked long hours and were expected to stay at the school during our UNPAID breaks. The apartment that I lived in was HORRIBLE (they provided the apartment for us)! There was mold everywhere which was seen as not a problem to the directors, they told us mold is NORMAL in Korea! We had a flood which was a disaster and they were not quick to help us get the apartment cleaned up. I would NOT recommend going to Gimpo SLP!

This Place was a nightmare, I got fired two weeks before I was suppose to be finished with the hell hole.. Migthy Funny it happens after the director begged me to resgin my contract, and after I couldnt take it anymore after he lashed out on me in a meeting, I pulled him aside and told him if he didnt like my services he could have got rid of me a long time ago, Anyways It was actually nice meeting Satan, At gimpo SLP I dont know perhaps you may be interested in working there.. Run Run For your Life, get out while you still Can. Now your probably asking yourself Craig, You WHiner, You Fool, Why the Heck would you stay, Young Minded, Love for the Kids, Coworkers that kept me strong went through the same thing but where happy to get out, I enjoyed Korea I had no real problems with anyone else the people the area, Nice Forgeiner Bar, Drunk Koreans buying me shots on the weekend Close Bus routes to and from Seoul, Even taxi didnt run you much, I could deal with the Crummy apartment, even thoue others where great, Pay downs, each week he took out a little here and there, I didnt Mind but just the Dealings of being unable to satisfy some one especially when you give them your all. Expecting they show you that respect, and then cutting you loose.. I warn you Please look into it. Happy to share with you.
