While I haven't worked for any other schools in S Korea, I don't have many complaints about LCI. The hours are 9-6:30 with an hour for lunch (a standard work day back home with any non-teaching job). And while I've heard teachers who taught back home talk about them being long hours for teachers, I don't have a problem with them. The staff is really helpful and willing to assist teachers in any problems they may have. While communication may not always be where I'd like it, it's not any worse than any other job I've ever had in terms of communication amongst staff. The school's expectations are reasonable (by my standards), and the whole experience seems like a collaborative effort to teach the students English. The personal life here is very supportive and fairly eventful as well. I've enjoyed it so much I just extended my contract with them for another yea! r. I have nothing but good things to say.
