Kelly’s Kingdom: Hwamyeong-dong, Busan

Initially I was told this was a progressive hagwan by an agent. The agency turned out to be a waste of space too.
The kids here were taught the same rubbish book ” Morris the Moose goes to school”, or something like that for over 3 months.

The school’s owners refused help to buy new books from employees, and kept teaching the same old stuff. In the 6 years or so it has been operating, there have been no updates.
Expect a lot of split shifts, short classes, and general slave labour.
The housing provided was a cesspit and had open sewage leaking through the ceiling, green slime growing on one wall, a waterfall on another wall from burst pipes, and black mold everywhere else.

Pay? A little below average, but they did pay on time.
