Ewha English Academy: Geumgok-dong, Gyeongsangbuk-do

A really rotten place to work. They do not have sufficient English skills to provide for the needs of a foreign teacher. The owner consorted with my recruiter to cheat me out of the public school job I flew over here for and then withheld my ticket reimbursement. I never got paid for that! When I arrived, they didn’t have an apartment ready and available or even a hotel room. Instead they required me to live in their guest room for a month and a half! A VERY uncomfortable situation. I didn’t feel I could “be” American at any time for that first few weeks. It got worse, and the administrators treated both me and the Korean teachers like dirt. The husband and wife onwers are disrespectful, disorganized, and completely inept. The owner is a disaster as a business person.
